Hi, I'm Alana. Originally from London, I now live in San Francisco, California as an entrepreneur in technology, travel and meditation. As a co-founder and business owner (working with my husband for 20+ years), I'm aware of how important it is to have a happy and healthy work-life balance... especially in today's fast-paced world.

I've researched, studied and practiced yoga and meditation for over 10 years and it's changed my life - emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. I fell in love with Mindfulness Meditation during a Spiritual Retreat featuring all-day silent sitting, standing and walking meditations, focusing on the breath. No cell phones, no emails, no texting, no talking... it was my moment of Zen.

Other memorable moments include Guided Mindfulness Meditations taught by Buddhist monks from the Plum Village Monastery in Southern France, home of the great Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh.
